Attraction Information
Explore the depths of the ocean like never before at Deep Sea World, Scotland’s national aquarium, nestled under the iconic Forth Rail Bridge. Boasting over 2,000 creatures, from majestic seals and graceful stingrays to fearsome sharks and delicate seahorses, it’s a must-visit destination for anyone fascinated by marine life.
With an impressive range of sea creatures to discover, this award-winning aquarium is perfect for the whole family. Be prepared to embark on a mesmerizing journey through the planet’s rivers, lakes, and oceans. Experience an array of wonderful and bizarre marine inhabitants, such as piranhas, lesser octopus, clownfish, and more, with seasonal events to keep things fresh and exciting. Don’t forget to visit the outdoor Seal Harbour, where a family of adorable common seals make their home.
One of the most spectacular attractions at Deep Sea World is the incredible 4.5 million litre Underwater Safari, the UK’s longest underwater tunnel. Encounter some of Europe’s largest collections of sharks, including 3-metre-long sand tiger sharks, and hundreds of other deep-sea creatures like rays, wrasse, and mackerel. Don’t miss the daily dive and feeding shows, where you can watch the divers feed the sharks up close.
