With classic fairground rides like the Gallopers merry-go-round and Austin Cars, as well as exciting attractions like the Hurricane Jets that take you back in time to the 50s and 60s, there’s something for everyone. Take a spin on the gravity-defying Chair-O-Plane or zoom around on the Scenic Railway, the oldest rollercoaster in the UK! And if you’re feeling competitive, bump into your friends and family on the dodgems. With so many rides and attractions, Dreamland Margate Amusement Park is one of the nicest theme parks on the beach!

This attraction does have its own car park
This car park does not have Disabled spaces
Most of the attractions are paved with flat surfaces and paths.
The majority of Dreamland’s venues are accessible for wheelchairs.
However, certain rides & attractions in our park can be physically demanding and vigorous so please ensure you read this policy for further details to understand more about any restrictions that apply.
Some rides, such as the Big Wheel and the Dodgems, have been specially designed to accommodate wheelchairs.
The park has a quiet room available for visitors who may need a break from the sensory stimulation of the rides and attractions. The room is equipped with sensory toys and other resources.
Accessible toilets are available throughout the park
Please note that some of these facilities are fitted with a Radar Key, These are not provided by Dreamland and it is advised to purchase one before your visit they can be found here – Radar Key
These toilets feature the following:
- Wash basin with lever style taps
- Transfer space to the side of the toilet
- Handrails to the side of the toilet and wash basin
- Disposal facilities

Dreamland operates a policy where carers, personal assistants or companions can ride for free provided they are accompanying A PAYING child or adult with accessible needs on the same ride.Â
They ask for the following forms of identification / documentation at the token booths so please do bring these with you:
- A certified NHS letter from your doctor or consultant clearly stating why you are eligible for a companion pass.
- A letter from a professional body (e.g. Nurse, Bupa Healthcare Advisor etc) clearing stating why you are eligible for a companion pass.
- A DLA, DWP or PIP letter stating you are entitled to a companion pass.
- A National Carer & Disability card or Nimbus Disability card.
Please note that both carer and the adult / child with access needs should present their wristband given to them at the token booth, to the ride operator prior to getting on the ride.
Bands distributed at the token booth to carers and the adult / child they are with, are void if tampered with or transferred to another person.
Assistance Dogs are permitted providing there is sufficient documentation, and the assistance dog is trained and registered.
Guide Dogs are not permitted in queue lines or on rides. The Guide Dog must remain with a party member at all times.

Attraction is a cashless park – so please use contactless or card methods.
Rides are operated on a pay-per-ride basis, with tickets or tokens purchased from the ticket booths at Dreamland.Â
The ticket booths are manned by their friendly and helpful team. Â
Purchase a ticket bundle of 20 tickets (1 ticket = £1.00) and receive 2 free tickets. To ride the Scenic Railway, please purchase a Scenic token from the dedicated booth in the ride queue lane.Â
