On Father’s Day, a group of 18 people including myself visited Woodlands Family theme park. Although the park had numerous hills, some of which were quite steep for navigating in a manual wheelchair, we were pleased to find that all the paths were made of concrete. The staff members were extremely helpful throughout our visit. We even encountered a family who received assistance in transferring their child from a wheelchair onto the toboggan ride.

We were impressed with the park’s accessibility features. There were plenty of disabled toilets conveniently located around the site, and we found three changing locations available. The disabled parking area was situated close to the entrance, ensuring easy access. Additionally, the entire site had step-free access, which was a major advantage.

However, we did encounter a minor drawback for wheelchair users. The food court & the toilets in the soft play area are located on the first floor, accessible only by a bridge. Unfortunately, the entrance to the soft play and indoor rides was on the ground floor. This meant that wheelchair users had to exit the building, use the sloped pathway to reach the lower doors outside the Dino Trek area, and re-enter in order to access these facilities. It would be more convenient if there were a direct wheelchair-accessible route.

Despite this inconvenience, our overall experience at Woodlands Family theme park was pleasant, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit.
