Bring your young animal enthusiasts to Hamerton Zoo Park for an unforgettable encounter with over 100 fascinating animal species, including big cats, meerkats, and the most extensive collection of Australian animals outside of Oz. You’ll have the unique opportunity to greet several awe-inspiring creatures that no other UK zoo has, such as the lively Dingoes “Yogi” and “Daisy.”
If you’re in the mood for a mini railroad safari, climb aboard the Tiger Express Railroad Train, and enjoy glimpses of white Bengal tigers, majestic Malayan tigers, and numerous species from the UK’s largest specialized Cheetah breeding unit. For a more intimate animal experience, catch one of the keeper talks or indulge your little ones in a one-to-one encounter.
Your kids will adore the adventure playground at Hamerton Zoo Park, where they can climb, swim, and run around like their new animal friends.

The pathways around the park are mainly concrete laid with the exception of 1 or 2 areas that are gravel.
There is a slight ramp into the cafe.
The picnic areas are level.
The enclosures around the park are viewable from a wheelchair.
This attraction has a disabled toilet.
Unfortunately, the train is not currently accessible however they are currently awaiting a new train that will be.
This attraction has a disabled toilet located in the main toilet block
This toilet features the following:
- Handrails to the side of the toilet.
- Wash basin with lever style tap.
