The Imperial War Museum Duxford is a branch of the Imperial War Museum in the United Kingdom. It is located in the village of Duxford in Cambridgeshire, England, and is situated on the site of the former Duxford Aerodrome.
The museum is dedicated to the history of aviation and warfare, with a particular focus on the role of the Royal Air Force during World War II. The museum’s collections include aircraft, military vehicles, tanks, and other artifacts related to aviation and military history.
Visitors to the museum can explore a variety of exhibitions and displays, including the Battle of Britain exhibition, which features a replica of a wartime airfield and a collection of fighter planes from the era. The museum is laid out across the ground floor, ramps are available where a level change is present.

There is a dedicated bus that can take wheelchair users around the site this bus has a ramp and a dedicated area at the front for a wheelchair user.Â
Wheelchairs, and two mobility scooters, are available for loan from the Visitor Centre.
There is a mix of concrete and grass between the buildings at IWM Duxford. The route between the buildings has a fairly even surface.

This attraction does not have a changing space however if you speak to a member of staff they can guide you to the first aid room that has a fixed height bed.
Assistance dogs are permitted within this attraction.
Where possible please take a relevant identification book for assistance dogs when arriving on site. Identification types include – Assistance Dogs International (ADI), Assistance Dogs UK (ADUK) or the International Guide Dog Federation (IGDF).
Whilst onsite your assistance dog should remain under your care and control, remaining on a lead.
