Monkey World - Ape Rescue Centre
Attraction Information
Monkey World – Ape Rescue Centre is a haven for beautiful and intelligent apes that deserve a safe and caring home. At this sanctuary, more than 250 primates of over 20 different species have found refuge. Many of these primates have suffered abuse or neglect, and they are gradually rehabilitated to live in family groups within the 65 acres of stunning countryside.
Guided tours and talks provide fascinating and personal insights into the many different species, personalities, and stories that thrive at the centre. These experiences also help raise awareness of the need to protect these amazing animals. Children will love the Great Ape Play area, which is the largest adventure play area in the South, as well as the choice of three cafes and plenty of lovely picnic spots.
Visit Monkey World – Ape Rescue Centre to make a difference to the monkeys and enjoy a fun-filled and heartwarming day out.
