The National Maritime Museum is a museum located in Greenwich, London, United Kingdom. It is one of the largest and most comprehensive maritime museums in the world, and it is dedicated to preserving the maritime history of Britain.
The museum was founded in 1934 and is housed in a beautiful Georgian building in the heart of the Greenwich World Heritage Site. It has a vast collection of over two million objects, including paintings, ship models, maps, charts, navigational instruments, and other artifacts related to Britain’s naval and maritime history.
One of the highlights of the museum is the Queen’s House, which is an architectural masterpiece designed by Inigo Jones in the 17th century. The Queen’s House is home to a collection of paintings, including works by famous maritime artists such as J.M.W. Turner.
The museum also has a large library and archives, which contains over 100,000 books, documents, and manuscripts related to maritime history. Additionally, there are a number of interactive exhibits and galleries that allow visitors to explore the world of maritime navigation, exploration, and trade.

Parking is free for blue badge users.
The car park is roughly 150 metres from the entrance.
There is level access from the car park to the main entrance.
There are 3 lifts to reach the first and second floor and 1 lift to reach the Special Exhibition gallery in the Sammy Ofer Wing.
Outside the Museum there is a platform lift to access the colonnades.
The floors around the museum are level and a ramp is present where a level change may happen.
Displays are viewable from a seated position.

A limited number of manual wheelchairs are available to borrow free of charge from the Park Entrance Information Desk on Level 0.

Royal Museums Greenwich offers free admission to companions accompanying disabled visitors. This includes admission to special exhibitions.
To be eligible for free entry you must present evidence in one of the following forms:

- Dr’s letter stating the need for a carer.
