The National SEA LIFE Centre Birmingham is a spectacular underwater world, located in the heart of Birmingham city. With over 60 displays of freshwater and marine life, visitors can explore an array of captivating creatures from around the world.

The journey begins in the depths of the Pacific Ocean, where visitors can see giant green sea turtles swimming alongside hammerhead sharks and a host of other marine creatures. Continue on to the Rainforest Adventure and be transported to the lush jungles of South America, home to piranhas, poison dart frogs and a range of tropical fish.

Explore the UK waters in the Tidal Reach zone, where you can come face-to-face with native marine life such as crabs, lobsters, and starfish. Take a stroll through the Coral Cave and marvel at the vibrant colours of the coral reef, home to tropical fish and seahorses.

One of the most popular exhibits at the National SEA LIFE Centre Birmingham is the Ocean Tunnel, where visitors can walk through an underwater tunnel surrounded by a vast array of marine life, including reef sharks, rays, and even a giant green sea turtle.

Throughout the day, visitors can attend live talks and feeding demonstrations to learn more about the fascinating creatures on display. The centre also offers a range of unique experiences, including behind-the-scenes tours, VIP experiences, and even the opportunity to dive with the sharks.

The aquarium does not have its own car park these closet car parks can be found in the following locations:

Q-Park Brindleyplace:

This car park is roughly 150M from the aquarium
The car park has 6 Disabled Spaces and 884 General spaces

Arena Birmingham South:

This car park is roughly 300M from the aquarium
The car park has 10+ Disabled parking spaces and 850+ general spaces ( Disabled spaces are located on levels 11, 12, 13 and 17 with a lift servicing each floor)

Arena Birmingham North:

This car park is roughly 300M from the aquarium
The car park has 5+ Disabled parking spaces and 530+ general spaces

Charges apply at all car parks including for blue badge users.

Due to health and safety reasons they are only able to accommodate 10 wheelchairs within the attraction at any one time

The aquarium is accessible to wheelchair users.

Where level access is not available within the venue a ramp will be present.

The venue is spread across several floors and has a lift to access each floor

Some areas of the aquarium have lowered lighting for the health of the animals within the aquarium.
