Shepreth Wildlife Park
Attraction Information
The Shepreth Wildlife Park, an award-winning attraction, boasts a diverse range of animals, from tigers and red pandas to otters and lemurs. Visitors are treated to daily animal talks and feeding sessions as part of their admission, where they can learn about conservation efforts and the park’s support for endangered species.
Additionally, Bug City provides a wealth of information on creepy crawlies, while the nocturnal house features a sloth and the jetty offers the opportunity to feed fish. Brave souls can also visit the Raptor. Indoors, visitors can enjoy Ringo’s play barn, cafeteria, and soft play area, which caters to children under five.

This attraction has its own car park
The car park has dedicated disabled parking close to the main entrance.
There are 3 Blue Badge Spaces
There is level access from the car park to the main entrance.
The car park is laid with loose chippings.
The pathways around the park are concrete laid and compact earth.
Some areas around the park are uneven and assistance may be required for those in a wheelchair.
There are some slight slopes throughout the park however it is mainly level throughout.
All enclosures can be viewed from various heights.
The indoor areas feature doors that are closed for the safety of the animals assistance will be required to open these doors.Â
Sound interpretation boards and ‘Touch and Feel’ exhibits are available on-site, specifically these will be found in the ground-level Discovery Centre

The Main Entrance toilets feature the following:
- Transfer space to theright hand side of the toiletÂ
- Drop down handrails to the side of the toiletÂ
- Fixed handrails to the side of the wash basin
- Wash basin with push-style tap
- Disposal Facilities
The Discovery Centre toilets feature the following:
- Wash basin with lever style tap
- Transfer space to the left hand side of the toilet
- Drop down hand rail to the side of the toilet
- Fixed hand rails to the side of the wash basin
- Disposal Facilities.
Assistance Dogs are welcome when accompanied by and under the control of their owners.
To ensure the safety and welfare of the public, staff and animals on the premises, the Support Dogs must wear their respective identifying jackets.
The wearing of identifying jackets and the carrying of relevant Identification Cards is required.
It is also requested you do not allow any Support Dog access to the vicinity of the Tiger Enclosure area, and take an alternative path.
There is also strictly no access allowed into any of the walk-through enclosures including: Wallaby Walk-through, Bunny Land and the Nocturnal House to reduce the stress caused to these animals under their care.
This attraction offers discounted concession to Disabled Guests & Carers.
