Animal Attractions at West Midland Safari Park The park is teeming with a wide variety of animals, offering plenty of opportunities to explore and discover new species. Embark on an African walk-through and witness the grandeur of African elephants grazing in their natural habitat, along with magnificent lions and elegant giraffes. Marvel at the impressive rhino as it grazes in its new environment, and observe the playful antics of the red pandas in their newly-renovated retreat. With access to their indoor enclosures 24/7, these furry creatures are at their most active during the early morning and evening, providing the perfect photo opportunities!
But it’s not just mammals that you’ll encounter at West Midland Safari Park. The park also offers indoor exhibits like Creepy Crawlies, as well as outdoor excursions such as the African Village Wildlife enclosure. This car park has dedicated disabled parking
There are 47 disabled parking spaces
The furthest disabled parking space is roughly 120 metres from the walk around entrance.
The car park is tarmac.
There is an incline from the disabled parking bays up to the Car Park Toilets and Changing Place.
There is level access from the car park to the walk-around area.
The pathways around the walk-around area are concrete laid
The path leading to the African walking trail has a steep incline with a compressed gravel surface, this route is not reccomended for wheelchair or mobility scooter users.
There pathways around the walk-around area feature gradual slopes.
The Sea Lion Theatre has ground floor access suitable for wheelchair access with dedicated seating and wheelchair space with full view of the show.
All animal exhibits in the Discovery Trail are at ground level or via ramps with good wheelchair access.
Adventure Theme Park rides have some restrictions for some disabilities but are well signposted to avoid confusion.

Assistance dogs can accompany their owners through the pedestrianised areas – please ensure they are wearing an identifiable harness or jacket denoting their working status.
Assistance dogs are not allowed in the Safari Drive-through for safety reasons and would constitute a breach of Zoo Licensing Regulations.
Please take your dog to Main Reception before you head to the Safari drive-through, they have a limited number of kennels that are prioritised for guests with Assistance Dogs whilst they are in the drive-through.

This attraction offers free entry to carers accompanying a paying disabled guest on a 1:1 basis.
To be eligible for free entry you must provide evidence in the following form:
- Nimbus Access Card With the +1 or +2 or +3 symbol ( the + number denotes how many carer tickets you may book )
This attraction offers a queue assistance scheme for guests who are unable to queue due to their disability.
To be eligible for the queue assistance scheme you must apply through the Nimbus Access website and be provided with an Access Card with the Queue symbol.
The Queue Assist Scheme allows the card holder and 1 other paying guest can queue via the ride exit.
Please let a member of staff know at the ticketing office if you require this service you will be asked to show your Access Card as evidence.
