Immerse yourself in an enchanting underwater wonderland like no other at Weymouth SEA LIFE Adventure Park. Let your little ones unleash their inner explorers and discover a world filled with magnificent sea creatures, including the fascinating yet misunderstood sharks!

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and get hands-on as you explore the rocky pools, uncover the secrets of seahorses, and if you’re feeling brave, come face-to-face with your new aquatic friends, the sharks! Delight in a world of educational talks, feeding demonstrations, and fascinating facts that are sure to captivate and educate kids of all ages.

And that’s not all! Prepare to be enchanted by Fairy Penguin Island, where you can come beak-to-beak with the world’s smallest and cutest penguins. This new walk-through experience is home to a family of 20 Fairy Penguins, each waiting to make your acquaintance.

Spread over a vast 7-acre site, you’ll also have the opportunity to learn about Sea Life’s tireless environmental efforts, alongside your fellow Ranger Tyler the Turtle. So, what are you waiting for? Embark on an unforgettable journey and make your way to the Caribbean Cove, where you can board the Galleon and sail off into the deep blue sea.

Accessability Information

Sea Life Weymouth does not have a dedicated car park however the Lodmoor Country Park Car park is directly in front of the entrance.

There are 12 dedicated disabled spaces directly to the front of the entrance.

There are 550 General Spaces 

The car park is tarmac and there is a slight slope to the aquarium from the car park.

 

The aquarium is wheelchair accessible.

There are slight and steep slopes/ramps throughout the park.
ramps/slopes are situated at the following locations; between the Penguins enclosure and the Turtle Sanctuary, between the Penguins enclosure and Wetlands, between Wetlands and the Otters enclosure, and on the approach to Seal Harbour.

The type of floor surface within the park varies between concrete, tarmac, grass, gravel, and wood decking

There are 2 Accessible toilets within the venue

These are located in Caribbean Cove and within the Main Building

These toilets feature:

  • Handrails beside the toilet
  • Lever style taps
  • Disposal Bins
  • Lowered Wash Basin
  • Grab rails beside the wash basin
  • Wide Entrance Door ( 94CM)

There are 3 Non Disabled toilets located in Caribbean Cove, the Main Building and an External Building

Unfortunately the nearest changing place is located 1.5 Miles away around a 30-minute walk or 5-minute drive

Assistance Dogs are allowed within the aquarium

If you are registered disabled you will be entitled to admit one free carer with you.

Please ensure that you Take documentation with you on the day such as your blue badge, DLA Letter or note from a doctor or specialist.

All tickets must be booked in advance, including free carer tickets.
