Attraction Information

The Isle of Wight Zoo is a popular attraction that appeals to people of all ages. It is located next to Yaverland beach and offers an enjoyable, informative, and wholesome day trip for families.

Children can get up close and personal with a variety of animals and learn from the zoo’s animal care and education team, who are passionate about big cats, lemurs, monkeys, and even insects! Visitors can witness the stars of the ITV series ‘Tiger Island,’ white tiger Zena, and tabby tiger Diamond, from just inches away through glass viewing windows in the Kanha and Ranthambore exhibits.

For children who want a more interactive experience, the zoo has an indoor animal handling area. Additionally, Zoolittle Farm provides an opportunity for children to pet farm animals such as pigs and goats.

This attraction offers free entry to one carer accompanying a Paying disabled guest.

To be eligible for free carer entry you must present evidence in one of the following forms:

  • DLA Letter
  • PIP Letter
  • All paperwork must be current, you may be asked to provide a photo ID to match the documents.
