The Animals The park is home to an impressive array of amazing animals, both big and small, winged and wingless, so there’s something for everyone. From the big animals like moon bears and black bears to the western chimpanzees at the Chimp House, the majestic tiger, adorable red panda, mischievous meerkats, and much more, visitors will be wowed by the variety. And that’s not all! The park also features a wide range of otters, wolves, lemurs, squirrel monkeys, crocodiles, penguins, and animals from all different landscapes and environments. Daily talks and feeds are available, and guests can even book special experience days to get up close and personal with their favorite animals.
Dinosaur Zoo Don’t forget to visit the Dinosaur Park! With over 29 lifelike dinosaur models, your little ones will be amazed as they take a walk on the wild side through the prehistoric era. You’ll be able to learn more about fascinating creatures like the Triceratops, Diplodocus, Spinosaurus, Velociraptor, and many more unique and interesting dinosaurs that are sure to make you roar with excitement! Keep an ear out for the sound of the T-rex’s roar in the background, especially with their animatronic dinosaurs.

Some of the paths in the park are compacted gravel / road stone and as such not solid tarmac
There are wooden pathways around some of the enclosures.
during some weather conditions, the paths may be a little bit bumpy.
Areas such as the Tigers and play area are also only accessible up a very gentle slope.
The whole park has step-free access.
Animal enclosures have either glass viewing windows set at seating height or wire mesh sides with a push-off barrier.
The chimpanzee house has a second floor viewing area accessible via a lift.
This attraction has both disabled toilets and a changing place.
This attraction has 4 accessible toilets located in the following areas:
- Main Entrance
- Outside the Indoor Play Area
- Inside The Indoor Play Area
- Near the Lemur Walk
These toilets feature the following:
- Handrails to the side of the toilet and wash basin
- Wash basin with lever style tap
- Disposal facilities
- Transfer space
- Emergency Pull Cord
This attraction has a changing place located in the reception area.
This room features the following:
- Height Adjustable Bed
- Track Ceiling Hoist ( you will require your own sling )

This attraction has partnered with KultureCity to create an accessible and inclusive day out for those with sensory needs.
This includes staff training and Sensory bag hire.
Sensory bags include the following:
- Fidget Toys
- Flash Cards
- Ear Defenders
Sensory bags can be loaned from the reception you simply fill out a form and leave a form of ID until the bag is returned to us at the end of your visit.
weighted lap pads are also available from the reception with the same conditions as above.
Sign posted Headphone Zones and Quiet Zones
They have signposted areas around the park in which you may need to wear headphones as they can be a little noisier, such as in the Chimpanzee House and around the parrots.
They have also established the area between the Moon Bears and Rainforest SOS as a Quiet Zone. So, if you are feeling over stimulated you can head to this sign posted area and use it for as long as you require.
This attraction offers free entry for carers accompanying a paying disabled visitor.
To be eligible for free entry you must present evidence in one of the following forms:
- Personal Independence Payment (PIP) letter
- Disability Living Allowance (DLA) letter
- Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP) letter
- Attendance allowance (AA) letter
- Adult / Child Disability Payment (ADP / CDP) letter
- Photographic staff identification card from a registered nursing or residential care home (foster homes in this instance do not qualify)
- Confirmation of a requirement for an essential carer by a medical professional on NHS headed paper
- Access card (must show on the front that the person requires a carer)
- Severely sight impaired registration confirmation
- Sight impaired registration confirmation
- CEA card
All evidence must be dated within 12 months of your visit.
