Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo in Pembrokeshire offers a full day out that combines a zoo, farm, vintage fairground, indoor and outdoor play, and family attractions all within a large countryside setting. Home to more than 750 animals across over 100 species, the zoo gives visitors the chance to see everything from lions, penguins and giraffes to rhinos, red pandas, Asian wild dogs and squirrel monkeys. Popular areas include Kifaru Reserve, Penguin Coast, the aviary and Tropical Trails, where visitors can discover reptiles, sloths, bats and other exotic species. Alongside the zoo, families can enjoy the Jolly Barn, the vintage fairground, the land train and a range of play areas, making Folly Farm a varied and exciting attraction for all ages.

Accessibility is well considered across much of the park, helping to create a mobility friendly visit for a wide range of guests. There is a dedicated disabled parking section in the main car park, with access to the entrance via level routes, although surfaces in the parking areas are a mix of hardstanding, gravel, loose chippings and tarmac. The majority of the park is accessible by tarmac or concrete paths, though some gradients are present in the zoo and farm areas and may be more challenging for wheelchair users or visitors with limited mobility. Benches are positioned along steeper routes to provide rest stops, and many attractions and animal enclosures have been designed with accessible viewing in mind. The Big Wheel and Land Train both include wheelchair accessible options, and many animal experiences can also be enjoyed by wheelchair users, although some, such as the sloth experience, are less suitable due to height restrictions.

Accessible toilets are available in several locations including Cwtch Coffee, the Jolly Barn, the Wallaby Ranch outdoor play area and inside the vintage fairground. A Changing Places facility is located in the vintage fairground and includes an adjustable bed and hoist, although visitors will need to bring their own sling. Wheelchairs and mobility scooters are available to hire, but numbers are limited so advance booking is recommended. Folly Farm also welcomes assistance dogs, although they are not permitted in walkthrough enclosures such as Sloth Forest, and ear defenders can be borrowed from admissions for visitors with audio sensitivities.

Visitors who require a carer to attend with them can receive a free carer ticket, but evidence is required. Folly Farm now uses Nimbus Disability and the Access Card scheme, and the disabled visitor must have a Digital Access Pass or Access Card showing the +1 symbol for an essential companion to be admitted free of charge. This should be arranged online in advance of the visit.

With its mix of wildlife, rides, accessible facilities and family attractions, Folly Farm Adventure Park and Zoo offers a fun and inclusive day out in Pembrokeshire.
