Exmoor Zoo
Attraction Information
Exmoor Zoo is a place of constant change and evolution, so even if you visited last year, you’ll find new exhibits and animals waiting for you today! In the past, the zoo has always focused on smaller animals and creating natural habitats for creatures that aren’t commonly seen in city zoos.
Today, the zoo boasts new exhibits for larger animals such as pumas, reindeer, maned wolves, meerkats, cheetahs, and even the famous Exmoor Beast! Sand cats, binturongs, singing dogs, wolves, and Carpathian lynx are just a few of the recent new arrivals. As the carefully planted shrubs and trees continue to mature, you’ll find yourself wondering what exciting additions the zoo has in store, all while enjoying a relaxing and natural atmosphere.
What sets Exmoor Zoo apart from other zoos is its focus on providing a more personal, friendly, and interactive experience. It’s not just a wildlife park or a city zoo, but a place that has grown into a North Devon Valley. This is reflected in the talks and encounter sessions, which occur every half hour in the summer. A visit to Exmoor Zoo is sure to reveal that there is so much more here than initially meets the eye!
