Attraction Information
At Hemsley Conservation Centre, it’s all about fostering creature comforts and promoting conservation efforts. Here, you’ll find a charming assortment of cute and curious animals, and a range of exciting activities to engage in.
Immerse yourself in an unforgettable Animal Encounter, where you can get up close and personal with your newfound animal companions. From feeding massive lizards to feeling the tickle of tiny bugs and beetles, or simply learning more about your favourite furry friends, the experiences are varied and endless. You’ll have the opportunity to ask the knowledgeable keepers any questions you may have and gain insight into what makes these often exotic and endangered creatures so special.
Meet a menagerie of meerkats, lemurs, marmosets, and even kinkajous (if you’re not sure what they are, you’re in for a delightful surprise!) and make sure to attend some of the daily talks. Reptiles Live! will introduce you to the fascinating personalities behind the fangs, while Monkey Madness! lives up to its name in every sense. These talks are a fantastic chance to learn about the critical conservation efforts undertaken by the dedicated team.
