Accessible indoor skydiving with AbleNet gives you the incredible sensation of freefall in a safe, fully supported environment, making the dream of flying possible for people with a wide range of disabilities, visual impairments and additional needs. Using a state-of-the-art vertical wind tunnel, you can float effortlessly on a powerful cushion of air, experiencing the thrill of flight without jumping from a plane or using a parachute.

This inclusive experience is designed to remove barriers and build confidence. AbleNet works closely with experienced instructors who understand a wide range of physical, sensory and neurological conditions, including mobility impairments, cerebral palsy, paraplegia, learning difficulties, visual impairment and mental health conditions. For participants who need additional support, two instructors can assist at the same time, providing stability, reassurance and personalised guidance throughout your flight.

Your experience begins with a relaxed virtual flight training session, where your instructor explains everything clearly and at your pace. You will then be fitted with specialist equipment including a flight suit, helmet and goggles, with full assistance available during the gearing up process. You will take part in two indoor skydiving flights, each lasting around one minute, allowing you to experience the true sensation of freefall in a completely controlled and accessible environment. After your flight, you will receive a personalised e-certificate to remember your achievement.

Indoor skydiving venues used by AbleNet are mobility friendly, with step-free access, lifts and accessible toilets. The experience is suitable for both individuals and groups, and spectators are welcome to watch and share the moment. Instructors are patient, highly trained and focused on ensuring you feel comfortable, safe and confident at every stage.

Accessibility and Participant Requirements
Indoor skydiving is suitable for participants aged 3 and above, with parental consent required for under 18s. The maximum weight limit is 18 stone (114kg). After booking, you will complete an access requirements form so AbleNet can understand your needs and arrange the correct level of support, including additional instructors if required.

Participants cannot fly if pregnant, under the influence of alcohol or non-prescribed drugs, or with certain medical conditions such as a recent dislocated shoulder. If you have heart, back or neck concerns, it is recommended that you check in advance. AbleNet aims to accommodate as many people as possible and will work with you to ensure the experience is safe and accessible.

This off-peak experience is typically available Monday to Friday during term time, with limited weekend and holiday availability. You should arrive around 30 minutes before your scheduled flight time to complete check-in and preparation.
