All Things Wild Nature Centre in Worcestershire is a family friendly wildlife attraction dedicated to conservation, education and hands on learning about the natural world. Set within a spacious park environment, the centre offers visitors the chance to explore a variety of animal habitats and interactive exhibits that highlight biodiversity and wildlife conservation. Guests can discover a range of animals including mammals, reptiles and birds while walking through themed areas and nature trails that recreate different ecosystems. Educational displays and talks help visitors learn about endangered species, conservation work and the importance of protecting wildlife habitats. Families can also enjoy additional attractions throughout the park, including a miniature train ride and interactive experiences designed to inspire curiosity about nature.
Accessibility has been considered across much of the site to support a mobility friendly visit. The attraction has its own car park with dedicated disabled parking spaces located close to the entrance. The car park surface is concrete and there is a ramp providing access between the parking area and the main entrance. Many of the main visitor pathways are tarmac and level, allowing wheelchair users and visitors with mobility aids to move around much of the park. Some areas such as the Wild Meadow include bark and gravel surfaces which may be uneven and could require assistance for wheelchair users. Most animal enclosures are designed to be viewable from a seated position to support visitors using wheelchairs or mobility scooters.
Accessible facilities are available throughout the attraction. Two accessible toilets are located within the park, one in the restaurant and another outside the Ocean Voyage area. These facilities include grab rails, lever taps and transfer space beside the toilet. The park’s train ride is also equipped with a wheelchair lift and can accommodate one wheelchair user on board.
All Things Wild has partnered with KultureCity to provide sensory inclusive experiences for visitors with sensory sensitivities. Sensory bags are available from reception and contain helpful resources such as noise cancelling headphones, fidget tools, weighted lap pads and visual communication cards. Two quiet areas are also located within the park, offering calm spaces for visitors who may need time away from busy environments.
Free entry is available for carers accompanying a paying disabled visitor when suitable supporting documentation is presented on arrival. With its wildlife encounters, educational experiences and sensory inclusive facilities, All Things Wild Nature Centre offers an engaging and accessible day out for families visiting Worcestershire.
