Anglesey Sea Zoo is designed to be mobility friendly, with step free access across most areas and staff on hand to help if needed. The reception desk includes an accessible height counter, and customer doors are typically kept open (weather permitting) to make entry and movement easier.
Inside the aquarium, there are only a few steps. These include steps to view the pier tank from above (with an alternative viewing angle available below) and steps to reach the top deck in the Bistro. There is also a single step by the shark pool, but it is only a shortcut and does not block access to any areas on the main route. The Gift Shop is fully accessible, and staff can assist with items on higher shelves.
Unisex toilet facilities are located outside the pay boundary near the entrance, and RADAR keys are not required. Manual wheelchairs are available to borrow from the admissions desk and can be reserved in advance (electric wheelchairs are not currently available).
Free onsite parking is available, including four dedicated accessible bays for wheelchair users and Blue Badge holders, around 10 metres from the entrance.
The Rockpool café can reserve tables in advance, and staff can bring trays to tables if requested. They can cater for special dietary requirements with notice. Menus are not currently available in Braille or audio format, but staff can read them out on request.
Assistance dogs are welcome in all areas. Other dogs can use the outdoor dog pens near the entrance, with water and shade provided, and padlocks available for a refundable £5 deposit.
Outdoor seating and picnic areas are available around the site, reached via a mix of tarmac, decking and paved paths. Queues are usually minimal, but during very wet weather in late July and throughout August capacity limits may apply to reduce overcrowding, and umbrellas are provided during waiting periods.
