Ark Wildlife & Dinosaur Park in Lincolnshire is a rescue zoo and family attraction dedicated to providing a safe home for animals that have been rescued or rehomed. Originally established as a private sanctuary for exotic animals, the park has grown into a welcoming wildlife centre where visitors can learn about animal care, conservation and rehabilitation. The park is home to a diverse collection of animals including mammals, reptiles and farmyard species, alongside themed attractions such as the Tropical House, where visitors can see reptiles and other exotic creatures up close. Guests can also explore indoor areas including the Activity Barn and the Meerkat and Familiar Friends Barn, while outdoor spaces feature animal enclosures, a large children’s play area and the Kalahari Café serving refreshments and locally made treats. Seasonal events, animal encounters and educational talks throughout the year help create an engaging experience for visitors of all ages.

The park offers several facilities designed to support a mobility friendly visit. There is an on site car park with a small number of dedicated disabled parking spaces located close to the entrance. The parking area has a hard standing surface with a gravel coating, and there is level access from the car park to the park entrance. Throughout the attraction, most areas are relatively level and animal enclosures are designed so they can be viewed comfortably from a seated height.

Visitors should be aware that many of the pathways around the park are grass rather than paved surfaces. While these routes are generally level, they may become muddy or uneven during wet weather, which could require assistance for wheelchair users or visitors with limited mobility.

Accessible facilities are available on site. An accessible toilet is located within the café area and includes grab rails, lever taps, transfer space and an outward opening door to support visitors with mobility needs. Discounted concession tickets are also available for disabled visitors and carers when appropriate supporting documentation is presented.

With its focus on rescued animals, family friendly attractions and educational experiences, Ark Wildlife & Dinosaur Park offers a relaxed and engaging wildlife day out for visitors exploring Lincolnshire.
