Clacton Pavilion

Clacton Pavilion is a vibrant, multi-level entertainment complex located on the Clacton seafront, offering a full day of fun for families of all ages. Set along the iconic pier, this attraction combines classic seaside entertainment with modern experiences, making it a popular destination for both locals and visitors.

The venue features a wide range of activities, including a fun park with rides, a 5D cinema experience, adventure golf, arcades, and a state-of-the-art tenpin bowling centre. Visitors can also enjoy indoor bumper cars, pool tables, and a variety of food and drink options, including a licensed bar and restaurant with sea views, as well as an ice cream parlour for a traditional seaside treat.

Clacton Pavilion is designed to be accessible and welcoming for guests with mobility needs. The main ticket area is located halfway along the pier and offers step-free, level access throughout. The pier itself is largely undercover and sheltered, with wide, wheelchair-friendly pathways and seating areas positioned along the route for rest breaks.

Although the attraction does not have its own dedicated car park, there is on-street parking available within approximately 100 metres. The nearby Agate Road car park includes disabled parking spaces, providing a convenient option for visitors requiring closer access.

Accessible toilet facilities are available in multiple locations across the site, including halfway along the pier, within the Boardwalk Bar, and inside the Discovery Bay area. These include step-free access, handrails, transfer space, and accessible wash basins. A unisex accessible toilet is also available, with a key obtainable from the Boardwalk Bar.

Clacton Pavilion also supports visitors who require additional assistance by offering a free carer wristband. This allows a companion to accompany a disabled guest, helping to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience throughout the attraction.
