Crealy Theme Park & Resort is one of the South West’s leading family attractions, offering a wide mix of rides, indoor play areas, outdoor adventures, and animal experiences. Designed primarily for younger children and families, the park combines exciting attractions with a relaxed countryside setting, making it a popular choice for a full day out in Devon.
The park is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible experience for visitors with disabilities and additional needs. Most pathways across the site are flat and tarmacked, with all indoor areas fully wheelchair accessible. There is a slight incline throughout parts of the park, so guests using manual wheelchairs may require assistance in certain areas.
Accessible parking is available on-site, with designated disabled bays located approximately 60 metres from the main entrance, providing convenient access into the park.
Crealy offers a range of accessible facilities, including four accessible toilets located across the park at the main entrance, near Jungle Journey, behind the Go Karts, and next to the Driving School. These all include handrails, transfer space, accessible wash basins, and emergency features. A larger accessible toilet requiring a RADAR key is also available, with keys obtainable from various locations on-site.
In addition, the park features a dedicated Changing Places facility located opposite the Adventure Zone. This includes a mobile hoist, height-adjustable changing bed, and privacy screens, supporting guests with more complex needs.
For visitors who are unable to queue due to a disability or medical condition, Crealy provides a Ride Access Pass. This allows eligible guests, along with up to three helpers, to access rides via the exit to reduce waiting times. Applications must be made at the park with supporting documentation, such as a signed letter from a GP or medical professional confirming the inability to queue. While the pass helps reduce queue times, it does not guarantee immediate access to rides, especially during busy periods.
Crealy also supports carers through a flexible admission policy. Registered employed carers can receive free entry when accompanying a guest with additional needs, provided proof of employment is shown. Discounted admission is also available for carers of guests receiving higher rate Personal Independence Payment (PIP) or Disability Living Allowance (DLA), although appropriate documentation is required.
Assistance dogs are welcome throughout the park but are not permitted on rides. They may accompany guests up to the ride loading point and must remain supervised at all times.
With its family-focused attractions, accessible facilities, and supportive policies, Crealy Theme Park & Resort offers a fun, inclusive, and mobility friendly day out in Devon.
