Diggerland Yorkshire is committed to providing a mobility friendly and inclusive environment for guests with disabilities and additional needs. The attraction has its own car park with dedicated disabled parking spaces, and there is level access from parking areas to the main entrance.

Throughout the park, pathways are a mix of concrete, tarmac, and gravel. While most areas are accessible, some gravel sections may require assistance for manual wheelchair users. The overall layout is relatively easy to navigate, but visitors should be aware that terrain can vary in places.

As the park is built around real construction equipment, some rides may not be suitable or easily accessible for all guests. Most machines are operated using hand controls, which are power-assisted and designed to be manageable without requiring significant strength. However, staff are unable to assist with lifting or transferring guests onto rides, so carers must be prepared to provide support where required.

Accessible toilet facilities are located within the main building and include standard features such as transfer space, handrails, lever taps, and disposal facilities.

Diggerland Yorkshire offers free carer entry on a 1:1 basis for visitors who require assistance. Where additional support is needed, multiple carers may also be admitted free of charge, provided appropriate documentation is shown. Accepted evidence includes PIP or DLA letters, Blue Badge, Access Card, EHCP documentation, and official medical letters.

Assistance dogs are welcome within the park, provided they are registered, kept on a lead at all times, and supervised. Visitors may be asked to provide proof of assistance dog status on arrival.

While some physical limitations apply due to the nature of the machinery-based attractions, Diggerland Yorkshire still delivers a highly engaging and inclusive experience.
