The Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary and Wildlife Centre is a rescue and rehabilitation centre located on the Lincolnshire coast, dedicated to caring for injured and orphaned seals and other animals. Visitors can see rescued seals, otters, penguins and tropical birds, while learning about conservation and rehabilitation through feeding sessions and educational displays. The sanctuary also includes a veterinary hospital viewing area, allowing visitors to see how animals are treated before being released back into the wild whenever possible.
The sanctuary is mobility friendly, with level access throughout most of the site, making it suitable for wheelchair users and visitors with mobility aids. Accessible toilet facilities are available onsite and include grab rails, a lowered wash basin, widened doorway and emergency pull cord. The onsite restaurant is also wheelchair accessible, and assistance dogs and guide dogs are welcome throughout the attraction.
The sanctuary has its own car park, although accessible bays are not marked. With step free access, accessible facilities and supportive access policies, Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary provides a mobility friendly wildlife attraction in Lincolnshire.
