Paultons Park is a popular family theme park set within 140 acres of landscaped parkland in Hampshire. Best known as the home of Peppa Pig World, the park offers a wide range of rides, themed lands, and attractions designed primarily for families with younger children, alongside scenic gardens and quieter areas for relaxation.

From gentle rides in Peppa Pig World to more adventurous attractions across themed areas like Tornado Springs and Lost Kingdom, Paultons Park provides a well-balanced experience for visitors of all ages. Alongside the rides, guests can enjoy nature trails, aviaries, and peaceful garden spaces, making it a varied and enjoyable day out.

The park offers a generally mobility friendly layout, with most areas accessible to wheelchair users. Pathways are well maintained, and there is level access across much of the site, although some ride access points may vary depending on the attraction.

A large disabled parking area is located close to the main entrance and Guest Welcome area, with clearly marked bays and free parking available for all visitors. Larger vehicles can use the nearby coach park if required.

Paultons Park operates a Queue Assist Pass system for guests who are unable to stand in queues due to a disability or medical condition. This must be pre-booked in advance and is linked to the Nimbus Disability Access Card scheme. Eligible guests can use this system to access rides more comfortably via alternative arrangements.

Essential Companion tickets are also available for Access Card holders with a +1 or +2 symbol, allowing discounted entry for carers who are required to support the guest during their visit.

Accessible toilets are available throughout the park, with facilities shown on the park map and clearly signposted. In addition, a fully equipped Changing Places facility is located near the main entrance. This includes a height-adjustable changing bench, mobile hoist (guest to provide sling), and accessible toilet. Access is controlled via a code available from the First Aid Centre.

The First Aid Centre, located near the entrance, is staffed by trained personnel and also manages accessibility services such as Queue Assist passes and support requests. Ear defenders are available to hire here, helping support guests with sensory sensitivities.

For wheelchair users, most rides can be accessed via exit gates, although guests must be able to transfer from their wheelchair either independently or with assistance from a companion, as staff are unable to assist with lifting. Some attractions allow guests to remain in their wheelchair, including selected experiences such as the Rio Grande Train and certain walkthrough attractions.

Wheelchairs are available to hire free of charge (subject to availability and pre-booking), and mobility scooters can also be hired in advance. Guests using mobility aids are advised that a Queue Assist Pass may still be required for easier ride access.

Visitors with mobility needs are required to be accompanied by a helper when using rides, particularly to assist in the event of an evacuation. The number of companions permitted on rides varies depending on the attraction.

Assistance dogs are welcome throughout the park but are not permitted on rides or in certain animal areas. They must remain under control and supervised at all times.

With its combination of accessible facilities, structured queue assistance systems, and a strong focus on younger families, Paultons Park is an excellent option for those seeking a mobility friendly and inclusive theme park experience in the South of England.
