Pettitts Adventure Park

Pettitts Adventure Park is a charming family attraction in Norfolk, combining animal encounters, classic rides, and indoor play areas. Designed primarily for younger children, the park offers a relaxed and engaging day out with a mix of educational experiences and traditional amusement fun.

Animal lovers can explore a variety of species including meerkats, lemurs, alpacas, raccoons, and miniature horses, with daily talks and shows helping visitors learn more about the animals. Alongside this, children can enjoy gentle rides such as the flying elephants, cup and saucer ride, and a driving school experience, while the indoor “Fun Factory” provides soft play, slides, and themed adventure areas.

Pettitts Adventure Park offers a generally mobility friendly experience, but there are some important accessibility considerations visitors should be aware of when planning their visit.

Parking is available on-site, however the car park is located approximately 130 metres from the entrance and requires walking along a country road with no pavement. The car park surface is grass, meaning some assistance may be required for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.

Within the park, around 95% of pathways are tarmac, making most areas relatively easy to navigate. However, some sections are made up of shingles, which may be more challenging for wheelchairs or mobility aids and could require assistance.

Accessible toilet facilities are available in multiple locations. Disabled toilets can be found within the male and female toilet block near the Railway Station, as well as just past the main entrance. Visitors should note that the toilet near the entrance can be tight for wheelchair users. Facilities include grab rails, transfer space, disposal facilities, and emergency alarms.

Assistance dogs are welcome throughout the park, although other dogs are not permitted.

The park offers discounted concession tickets for registered disabled guests and carers, as well as seniors aged 65+. To qualify, visitors must provide appropriate documentation such as a Blue Badge, DLA/PIP paperwork, or a doctor’s letter dated within 12 months.

There is no formal ride access pass or queue assistance system in place, so accessibility support is more informal compared to larger theme parks. Visitors with additional needs are encouraged to speak to staff on arrival if assistance is required.
