Scottish Owl Centre
Attraction Information
The Scottish Owl Centre boasts one of the most impressive collections of owls in the world, making it the perfect destination for a fun-filled family day out. And with an adventure playground that combines physical activities with fascinating educational features, it’s sure to please visitors of all ages!
One of the highlights of the centre is the Wee Owl World exhibit, featuring the cutest and smallest owls from around the world. Even those who may have found owls creepy before will quickly fall in love with these adorable creatures.
The Boreal Forest, Owl of North, and North Pole exhibits are equally awe-inspiring, providing a glimpse into the majestic world of snowbirds and their natural habitat. You might even spot a white owl perched on an iceberg! For those who prefer a more immersive experience, the Fishing Owl Focus and Rainforest Realm exhibits offer a chance to get up close and personal with these incredible birds and learn about the vastly different environments they inhabit.
And if that’s not enough, the Best of British gallery showcases the beloved owls of the UK. Visitors can also enjoy daily flying demonstrations and even crawl into a mock-up nest box to learn how to speak Barn Owl.
For those looking for a more interactive experience, Professor Hoot’s Owl School is the perfect place to put your knowledge to the test. And once you’ve earned a break, take a thrilling ride down Shortie’s Chute, the super slide at the heart of the adventure playground.
