Woodlands Family Theme Park

Woodlands Family Theme Park is one of the largest family attractions in the South West, offering a mix of rides, indoor play areas, and outdoor adventure zones set within a scenic valley landscape. Woodlands Family Theme Park aims to provide a mobility friendly environment, with all main pathways surfaced with tarmac and seating available throughout the park. Parking is available in both upper and lower car parks, with designated disabled spaces located in the front rows to minimise distance to the entrance. The car parks are gravel-surfaced, but lead directly onto smoother tarmac pathways once inside the park.

Accessible toilet facilities are located across multiple areas, including below the Treasure Trove Gift Shop, inside the Empire of the Sea Dragon, and at Loves Grove Café. These toilets are spacious and equipped with appropriate accessibility features, and baby changing facilities are also available at these locations.

The park offers discounted admission tickets for guests with disabilities. Visitors may be asked to provide valid documentation such as a DLA or PIP letter, Blue Badge, Nimbus Access Card, or National Disabled ID Card on arrival. Carers are not admitted free of charge but can benefit from discounted pricing as part of the overall ticket structure.

Woodlands does not operate a formal ride access or fast-track system. However, staff (referred to as Rangers) are available throughout the park to provide support where needed. If a guest is unable to queue, arrangements can often be made such as allowing a member of the group to queue while the guest waits in a nearby seating or play area before joining at the ride entrance.

Wheelchairs are not available for hire on-site, so visitors who require one are advised to bring their own.

Assistance dogs are welcome within the park, provided they are fully trained and kept under control at all times. Pet dogs are not permitted, although kennels are available on a first-come, first-served basis for those who need them.
