This attraction has its own car park
There is a dedicated disabled parking area
The disabled parking is roughly 50 metres from the main entrance.
There is level access from the car park to the main entrance.
Banham Zoological Gardens is wheelchair and pushchair accessible, with paved surfaces and lifts/ramps where appropriate.
The Safari Roadtrain is not adapted for wheelchair use. However, the staff will assist visitors where possible to board and disembark from the train.
There is plenty of seating around the site.
Portable hearing loops are available.
This attraction has 3 disabled toilet located in the following areas:
- Parkside Pizza,
- The Australian Paddock,
- Giraffe House
- The Woodland Roadtrain Station
All locations feature the following:
- Handrails to the side of the toilet and the wash basin
- Wash basin with lever style tap
- Transfer space to the side of the toilet
- Disposal facilities
- Emergency alarm
This attraction offers free carer entry to carers accompanying a disabled guest
To be eligible for free carer entry you must present evidence in one of the following forms:
- Nimbus Access Card
- PIP/DLA Paperwork dated within 12 months
- Blue Badge
