Attraction Information
Experience an unforgettable day out for the whole family at Paradise Park, the award-winning wildlife sanctuary which also features the JungleBarn indoor play centre. Witness amazing free flying bird shows during the summer, take part in penguin photocalls, and even feed the charming little parrots.
Discover a diverse range of colorful birds, including rare and beautiful parrots, flamingos, toucans, and red-billed Cornish choughs. There are also majestic owls, kookaburras, and cranes to admire. With over 130 species and more than 1,000 birds, there is an incredible variety to see. Visit the Fun Farm, where you can meet mini donkeys, pygmy goats, sheep, rabbits, and guinea pigs. You can also observe red pandas, red squirrels, and otters, many of which are part of conservation breeding schemes.
When it’s time to eat, head over to the large Otter Pool Cafe or the Bird In Hand Pub, located just opposite the entrance. You’ll find a wide and delicious selection of food and drinks to enjoy.

All areas are wheelchair friendly in good weather.
Some paths are tarmac, most are gravel and there is grass on the picnic lawn and in the Fun Farm.
The gardens have a natural slope.
One doorway into the walled garden has steps, but there is an alternative route without steps.

To be eligible for this discount you must present evidence in one of the following forms:
- Blue Badge
- PIP Paperwork
- DLA Paperwork
- NHS Letter
Registered Assistance Dogs are permitted within this attraction.
- Keep the dog on a lead and take it quickly away from any aviary where the birds over-react.
- Please be aware they will have birds flying free around the Park at different times of day. Please keep you dog under control at all times (please check the daily events timetable).
- They will let you know if a particular species is at a delicate stage in their breeding cycle and ask you to avoid the area.
Opening Hours
Summer Opening Times from 1st April 2023
Open 7 days a week from 10am to 5:30pm with last entry at 4pm.
Winter Opening Times until 31st March 2023
Booking advised. Open 10am to 4pm, doors close at 3pm. The JungleBarn stays open for the late afternoon session until 5:30pm.
The days they are open and available to book in the winter may be subject to change without notice.

All disabled visitors must provide A Blue Badge, DLA, PIP or NHS letter on arrival.
