The Blue Reef Aquarium in Newquay is an exciting and immersive underwater world that offers visitors an unforgettable experience. As soon as you enter, you’ll be surrounded by the sights and sounds of the ocean. The aquarium is home to over 40 naturally-themed habitats that showcase a variety of fascinating marine life from around the world.
Get up close and personal with sharks, rays, seahorses, and jellyfish in the stunning underwater tunnel. Watch as graceful sea turtles glide through the water, and marvel at the incredible colours and patterns of tropical fish. There are also displays of native species, including lobsters, crabs, and octopuses.
The Blue Reef Aquarium is more than just a place to view marine life – it’s a place to learn about it too. Expert staff members are on hand to provide talks and demonstrations throughout the day, and there are interactive exhibits that allow visitors to learn more about the different habitats and species.

This aquarium does not have a dedicated car park for general public however Disabled spaces can be reserved at the aquarium if you call prior to your arrival.

You will need to call ahead to access this changing place where a Key will be provided to you.
Contact the Newquay Town Council Tourist Information Centre on 01637 838516 to book out an access key. Keys are bookable for the day and must be returned on the day of use
Assistance Dogs are permitted within the aquarium
The aquarium offers free entry for a carer of a disabled visitor should you require one on a 1:1 ratio.
You must show proof of disability (i.e. DLA/PIP letter).
Any additional carers can purchase a concession ticket.
