The aquarium does not have its own parking but there is plenty of on-street parking and a public car park to the side of the aquarium. there are 3 dedicated disabled spaces at the far end of the car park.

Blue Reef Aquarium operates the standard admission policy that any paying visitor, standard, junior, or concession with special needs can be accompanied by one carer free of charge.

A visitor under 3 years old with a carer would purchase a junior admission ticket with the carer admitted free of charge.

Evidence required – 

  • Disability Living Allowance or Attendee Allowance aware letter (dated within the last 12 months),
  • Personal Independent Payment letter (dated within the last 12 months),
  • A letter from GP or Consultant (dated within the last 12 months) confirming the need for a full time carer.
