Chessington World of Adventures

Accessibility Information

Unleash your inner adventurer at Chessington World of Adventures Resort! Get up close and personal with majestic tigers as they walk above you on Europe’s first overhead trails. Step into the pages of beloved children’s books brought to life, and take on thrilling treetop adventures. With over 40 rides and attractions, 1,000 animals at Chessington Zoo, and the Chessington Sea Life Centre, it’s the ultimate day out.

Embark on a bat-like flight on Vampire, feel the fury of a dragon on Dragon’s Fury, or slither like a snake on Kobra. Join the Witch and her Cat on a magical journey with the characters from Room on the Broom, and face the Dragon to save the day. Then, float down the lazy river on The Gruffalo River Ride Adventure, and encounter the Gruffalo himself in the deep, dark woods.

For the thrill-seekers, brave the mighty Croc Drop, a major attraction that will have you plummeting 25m into the giant jaws of Sobek, the ancient Egyptian Crocodile God…if you dare. If you have little monkeys in tow, take them on the Monkey Swinger, where they can fly high through the trees just like their primate counterparts. And don’t miss the Tiger-Rock log flume, where you can catch a glimpse of the resident endangered Amur tigers if you’re brave enough to look around.

With all this and more, Chessington World of Adventures Resort is the perfect place to let loose and explore your wild side.

WHEELCHAIR HIRE

Wheelchair hire is available from Lodge Gate and is charged at £10 per day, plus a £50 fully refundable pre-authorisation on a credit or debit card. Registered disabled guests with documented proof may hire a wheelchair free of charge, but a £50 pre-authorisation will still apply – please speak to a member of staff on your visit for more information.

Wheelchairs are subject to availability so we would suggest that guests who need a wheelchair to travel around the Theme Park take their own for ease and certainty. Please note, due to the very hilly nature of our site, this can make powered buggies very unstable. Please take extra care when using them and speak to a staff member in Guest Help and Information for further information.

MOBILITY SCOOTER HIRE

Mobility Scooter hire is available from Lodge Gate and is charged at £35 per day plus a £50 fully refundable pre-authorisation on a credit or debit card.

Please note that you are welcome to bring your own mobility scooter to the Resort, but they are unable to be brought into ride queue lines and therefore must be left outside of the ride.

PUSHCHAIRS AND BUGGY HIRE

We have a selection of colourful buggies for hire at Lodge Gate. Single buggies cost £10 and double buggies cost £15. Please be aware that our buggies are not suitable for babies and are subject to availability – you are unable to pre-book buggy hire for your visit.
