Cornish Seal Sanctuary
Attraction Information
The Cornwall Seal Sanctuary is a must-visit for anyone who loves marine life. Located in the picturesque village of Gweek, the sanctuary is home to rescued seals and other marine animals from all over the British coast.
At the sanctuary, visitors can get up close and personal with these magnificent creatures and learn about their habitat, behavior, and conservation. You’ll be able to see seals of all ages and sizes, including cute and playful pups, and learn about their individual stories.
In addition to seals, the sanctuary is home to other rescued marine animals such as otters, penguins, and sea lions. You can watch them play, swim, and interact with their caregivers in their natural habitats.
The sanctuary also has a hospital area, where injured or sick animals are treated by the expert team of veterinarians and caretakers. You can see the animals receiving treatment and learn about the challenges faced by these animals in the wild.
Aside from the animal exhibits, the Cornwall Seal Sanctuary offers interactive experiences and educational talks throughout the day, making it a perfect place for families and animal lovers alike. There’s even a play area for kids to burn off some energy.
Overall, the Cornwall Seal Sanctuary is a wonderful place to visit and support the conservation efforts of these beautiful marine animals.
