One of the standout experiences of Howl’o’ween is Enchanted Hollow: Trick or Treat. This underground wonderland offers a safe, accessible adventure for all. As you wander through the cosy burrows and winding tunnels, you’ll uncover delightful treats, but beware—some residents may play a few tricks! Paths are designed to accommodate wheelchair users, ensuring that all visitors can enjoy the charming, whimsical atmosphere.

While Enchanted Hollow requires an additional ticket, it’s fully accessible for carers, who must also purchase a ticket to join the fun. Guests who already hold a ticket or Annual Pass can easily add this magical adventure to their Howl’o’ween experience.

  • Banyan: The Final Flame: Don’t miss this award-winning show for its final season, where two tribes unite to protect the sacred Banyan tree. The viewing area offers accessible seating so everyone can witness the dramatic finale.
  • The After Party: Ready to raise the roof with friendly ghosts? The accessible party zone ensures guests with mobility needs can join the lively Halloween bash without missing out on any fun.

Chessington has designed its Howl’o’ween event to be as accessible as possible, making sure that everyone can take part in the spooky fun:

  • Ride Access Pass: Guests who are unable to queue can apply for a Ride Access Pass, providing easier access to the park’s popular attractions during the event.
  • Wheelchair Accessibility: The park is designed to be accessible for wheelchair users, featuring smooth pathways, ramps, and accessible seating in various show areas.
  • Accessible Restrooms & Parking: Dedicated accessible parking is available close to the entrance, while multiple accessible restrooms ensure convenience throughout your visit.
  • Carer Discounts: For guests who require assistance, Free tickets are available for accompanying carers* to join the Halloween festivities.
  • Changing Place: For guests who require extra facilities a dedicated ‘Changing Place’ is located in the Resort on Shipwreck Coast with a height-adjustable changing bench, shower, toilet and hoist.
    To access, please use a RADAR key, which if you don’t have one of your own, can be collected on loan from Ride Access Pass Information Hub​ & Information in Adventure Point. A refundable deposit of £10 is required to hire a RADAR key for the day.  
  • Pumpkin Patch: The pathways around the pumpkin patch are wheelchair accessible and concrete laid, haybales line the sides of the pathways however staff are able to offer assistance where needed and appropriate.
  • Enchanted Hollow: The pathways around the enchanted hollow are wheelchair accessible, for guests who are nervous around sudden surprises the Enchanted hollow may not be suitable due to live entertainment and roaming characters, If you are unsure whether this activity is suitable for you please contact Chessington prior to booking your tickets – Contact Form 
  • *Free carer ticket is provided on a 1-1 basis where more than one carer is needed evidence must be provided prior to applying for the carers’ tickets.

    1. Offer Validity:
      The 2nd Day Free promotion is valid for bookings made on select dates from now until 27th October 2024. Stay dates for this promotion are available until 2nd November 2024. Promotion is subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time.

    2. Ticket Inclusions:
      The 2nd Day Free offer includes entry to Chessington World of Adventures Theme Park on both days of your stay. The promotion also includes access to the Zoo and SEA LIFE attractions.

    3. Enchanted Hollow – Trick or Treat:
      Access to Enchanted Hollow is not included in the standard ticket price. Guests must purchase an additional ticket to access this attraction. Carers accompanying disabled guests must also purchase a separate ticket for entry to Enchanted Hollow. Guests with Annual Passes or theme park tickets can add this experience as an extra.

    4. Accessibility:
      Chessington World of Adventures strives to ensure that its Howl’o’ween event and accommodation are accessible to all guests. However, certain attractions or areas may have specific restrictions. Guests with accessibility needs are encouraged to review accessibility guidelines on the official website or contact Guest Services prior to arrival.

    5. Ride Access Pass and Free Carers Ticket:
      Ride Access Pass(RAP): Subject to a successful Nimbus Accessibility Application, the application must take place up to 7 days or more prior to your visit, RAP is subject to availability on the date of your visit and you will be informed at the time of application, the application is free of charge and covers your for 1 visit to Chessington World Of Adventures.
      Carers Tickets: accompanying guests with accessibility needs may be eligible for a free carers ticket. Proof of eligibility must be provided at the time of booking or on arrival.
    6. Short Break Packages:
      Short break packages, including overnight hotel stays, are available from £57 per person, based on four guests sharing a standard room. Hotel packages include one-night accommodation and entry to the park for the duration of your stay. Additional charges may apply for room upgrades and extras.

    7. Refunds & Cancellations:
      All tickets and bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased. In the event of unforeseen circumstances or park closures, please consult Chessington’s refund and cancellation policy for further information.

    8. Event Dates:
      The Howl’o’ween event runs from 5th October 2024 to 3rd November 2024, including special activities during the October half-term.

    9. Costume Guidelines:
      Guests are encouraged to participate in Halloween fancy dress. However, for the safety and enjoyment of all visitors, face coverings or props that could be mistaken for real weapons are not permitted.

    10. Health & Safety:
      Chessington reserves the right to modify or close certain attractions or areas for health and safety reasons. Guests should follow all park guidelines and instructions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

    11. Promotion Code:
