Gulliver’s Land is a family-focused theme park located in Milton Keynes, designed especially for children aged 2 to 13. With over 70 rides, attractions, and shows, the park offers a fun and imaginative experience packed with themed areas, animatronic dinosaurs, and interactive adventures.
Families can explore a wide variety of attractions, from gentle rides like the Toy Town Express to more exciting options such as the Runaway Train and Drop Tower. The park also features themed zones including Adventure Land and the JCB Zone, as well as water play areas and live entertainment. On-site themed accommodation makes it possible to turn a day visit into a full weekend experience.
Gulliver’s Land is designed to be mobility friendly, with level access throughout the park, making it easier for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility to navigate between attractions, shops, and restaurants.
The attraction has its own car park, including 21 designated disabled parking spaces located approximately 40 metres from the main entrance. Access from the car park to the entrance is level.
There are two accessible toilets located in Main Square and the Castle Food Court. These facilities include grab rails, transfer space, lever taps, and disposal facilities, supporting a range of accessibility needs.
Wheelchair hire is available from Guest Relations on a first come, first served basis, with a £20 refundable deposit required. Due to limited availability, it is recommended that visitors bring their own where possible. A specialist wet-chair is also available for use on Splash Zone attractions.
A Ride Access Pass is available for guests who are unable to queue due to a disability or medical condition. This allows the guest and up to three accompanying helpers to access rides via the exit or alternative entrances, helping to reduce queue times. However, it is important to note that the pass does not provide immediate or priority access, and some waiting may still be required, particularly during busy periods.
To apply for a Ride Access Pass, guests must request it on arrival from Guest Relations or park management and provide supporting documentation, such as a GP’s diagnosis letter confirming that they are unable to queue. The pass cannot be pre-booked, and a DLA letter alone is not sufficient for eligibility.
Some rides are excluded from the Ride Access Pass scheme, and access is always subject to ride-specific safety requirements.
Gulliver’s Land also offers concessionary ticket pricing for guests who can provide valid documentation, such as a MAX Card or a DLA/PIP letter with photo ID. This allows two people to access tickets at a reduced rate. Concession tickets and Ride Access Pass eligibility are separate, and guests may qualify for one or both depending on their circumstances.
Carers are encouraged to accompany guests with additional needs, particularly on rides, as they may be required to assist with access and in the event of an evacuation. Staff are not able to provide lifting or transfer assistance.
With its flat layout, wide range of child-friendly attractions, and structured accessibility support, Gulliver’s Land is a strong choice for families seeking a mobility friendly theme park experience in Milton Keynes, especially for younger children.
