Attraction Information
Pendennis Castle is a historic fortress located in Cornwall, England, built by Henry VIII in the 16th century to defend against invasion. For disabled visitors, the castle offers designated parking spaces located close to the entrance, with level access to the grounds and accessible restrooms.
The castle grounds are extensive and include accessible pathways throughout, making it easy for visitors to explore the various areas of the castle, including the Tudor gun tower and the WWI and WWII barracks. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the coast from the castle’s ramparts, and there are regular demonstrations of historic weapons and artillery. A cafe on site serves a range of hot and cold meals, snacks, and drinks, with accessible seating and service areas.
