Accessibility Information

The aquarium does not have its own car park however there is a council car park directly opposite.

There are 18 disabled spaces and 469 general spaces

The site is accessible to prams, wheelchairs and mobility scooters. It is a mixture of surfaces including tarmac, wood and concrete. Steps edges are highlighted throughout the site.

The Seal Cove can be accessed fully by wheelchair users. Reserved seating is available.

The café is accessible by wheelchair users

The gift shop is wheelchair accessible. Help will be can be given to reach goods on higher shelves in all outlets.

All doors are usually left open unless it is very poor weather, and full staff assistance is offered to all guests who may require it.

 

 

 

Guest toilet facilities have baby changing facilities and have wheelchair-accessible unisex toilet provisions. No RADAR key is needed.

Guide dogs are permitted within the venue.

Carers accompanying Disabled guests can get a discounted entry ticket, proof will be required on arrival in the form of a Blue Badge or PIP/DLA Document.
