Located in a secret underground vintage train station hidden beneath a new one, this amazing attraction is home to over 10,000 toys, including priceless model train collections. You’ll be in awe as you explore the enormous collection, which ranges from antique toys to more modern fare, with categories including soft toys, construction sets, puppets, dioramas, and even a Dinky/Tri-Ang/Corgi Gallery.

For train enthusiasts, there are several working train layouts to get up close to and admire. And if you’re looking for something to kick off your day of exploring Brighton, the Toy and Model Museum is conveniently located near a tourist information point.

But don’t worry, it’s not just for kids! This museum is a refreshing change of pace and is just as entertaining for adults as it is for children. You’ll even be transported back to your childhood as you run into old friends you’d forgotten.

The Toy and Model Museum strives to provide the best possible experience for all visitors, and while they do make every effort to provide disabled access, they kindly request that wheelchair users contact them in advance. This attraction does not have its own car park.

The closest car park is Brighton Station Car Park

This car park is roughly 800 metres from the attraction.

There is an incline between the car park and the main entrance.

Though situated in a Victorian building, adaptations have been made to enable wheelchair access to almost every public area.

The access ramp is designed for standard-sized wheelchairs, the museum has some tight corners, and we are unable to allow mobility scooters.

Guides are available in large print.

This has a disabled toilet.
