Woburn Safari Park
Attraction Information
Why settle for one safari when you can have two? At Woburn Safari Park, you can explore the wilderness by car and on foot, giving you the opportunity to see the park’s thousands of animal species up close and personal. It’s the perfect place for a family outing, whether you visit on weekends or during school holidays.
The Road Safari is a thrilling adventure where you’ll drive through the park’s wild animal reserves. You’ll witness exotic beasts in their natural habitats, like the Kingdom of Carnivores, where you’ll see lions, otters, and bears! You’ll be just inches away from these incredible animals as you travel around. With unlimited circuits of the drive-through animal reserves, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to catch a glimpse of your favourite animals like the Amur Tiger or bush dogs in their enclosures. The journey takes about 60-90 minutes, and you’ll come face to face with some of the world’s most endangered animals.
Once you’ve completed the Road Safari, it’s time to explore the Foot Safari. Here you can wander around and discover smaller animals and land mammals like sea lions, Asian elephants, macaque monkeys, and more. You’ll also have the chance to listen to a fantastic daily program of keeper talks, demonstrations, and educational demos. The Woburn Safari Park team is always happy to answer any questions you might have, so you’ll leave an expert on animal behaviors, especially after meeting the red pandas, birds of prey, and otters! The Foot Safari is open from 10:45 to 17:15, except for Farmyard Friends, which closes at 16:45.
