This car park has dedicated disabled parking close to the entrance.

The distance from the disabled parking to the entrance is roughly 30 metres.

There is level access from the car park to the main entrance.

The pathways around the park are concrete-laid.

There is level access throughout the park.

This attraction does not have any wheelchairs to hire.

The enclosures are fully viewable for wheelchair users

Some of the indoor enclosures have a gradient around the pathways and feature rocks that may make navigating with some larger powerchairs or mobility scooters difficult.

 

There is a disabled toilet located near the entrance of the park.

This toilet features the following:

  • Wash basin with lever style tap
  • Handrails to the side of the toilet and the wash basin
  • Transfer space to the side of the toilet
  • Disposal Facilities.

This attraction offers discounted concession for disabled visitors and carer

To be eligible for the discount you must present evidence in one of the following forms:

  • DLA letter
  • PIP letter
  • Blue Badge (along with photo ID)
  • Medical Letter confirming disability

Assistance dogs are permitted within the Car-Park, Court Yard, Toilets, and tearoom however you must read the Dog Protocol PDF before your arrival.
