1A. Who we are
Disability Days is an independent UK-based platform that helps people find accessible and mobility friendly attractions, venues, and days out. We do not own, operate, or manage the attractions listed on our site. Each listing is managed by a separate business, organisation, or partner.
Our role is to provide the platform, tools, and information to help you discover and compare accessible places to visit.
1B. How our service works
We make it easier to discover attractions that match specific accessibility needs, such as step-free access, accessible toilets, changing places facilities, parking, seating, and more.
On Disability Days you can:
- Search by location, region, or type of attraction
- Apply accessibility filters based on your needs
- Compare venues based on facilities, accessibility, and key features
- Click through to the attraction’s website or partner platform for more details
When you visit an attraction or make a booking, you are dealing directly with the venue or provider, not Disability Days. They are responsible for the experience, services, and facilities. We are responsible for presenting information as clearly and accurately as reasonably possible based on what partners provide.
1C. Who we work with
We list a mix of:
- Direct listings where venues manage their own information
- Paid and Featured partners who choose enhanced visibility
- Affiliate or third-party listings provided via partners
We only display attractions that have a relationship with us, either directly or through partners. Some venues listed elsewhere may not appear on Disability Days, and some listed on our platform may also appear on other websites.
Disability Days does not operate or manage attractions. Each venue is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.
1D. How we make money
Disability Days is free for visitors to use. We generate revenue through:
Listing plans
Venues may choose free or paid listing options, with paid plans offering additional features or visibility.
Featured placements
Some venues pay for increased visibility. These listings may appear higher in certain areas of the platform.
Affiliate commissions
For some listings, we may receive a commission if you click through and make a booking or purchase via a partner site.
We do not sell tickets or experiences directly. Instead, venues and partners pay for visibility, marketing exposure, or referrals.
Because of this, commercial arrangements may influence how prominently some listings appear.
1E. How listings are ordered
Default order
When viewing search results on Disability Days, listings are ordered using a combination of factors:
Featured listings first
Listings with paid Featured placement may appear at the top.
Standard ranking factors
Other listings are ranked using a mix of:
- Match to your filters, especially accessibility features
- Location relevance
- Listing quality, including detailed accessibility information and images
- Visitor interest, such as clicks or engagement
- Reliability of listing updates
Tiebreakers
Where listings are similar, additional factors such as price level or listing type may be used.
Commercial factors, including paid plans or promotions, may influence placement, but relevance and usefulness remain important.
Other sort options
Where available, you may be able to sort results by:
- Price
- Newest listings
- Distance or area
When using these, your chosen sort option becomes the primary factor.
1F. Labels, badges and “Featured” listings
We use labels and badges to help you quickly understand key features:
“Featured” listings
These have enhanced visibility through paid plans.
Accessibility badges
Examples include:
- Step-free access
- Accessible toilets
- Changing places facilities
- Suitable for limited mobility
Other feature badges
Such as family friendly, dog friendly, or indoor/outdoor.
Badges are designed to highlight key features quickly. They are not a guarantee that a venue will meet every individual need, so we recommend reviewing full details and contacting the venue if required.
1G. Prices
Prices shown on Disability Days are set by the venue or partner, not by us.
Please note:
- Prices may vary depending on date, time, ticket type, or visitor requirements
- Some venues include additional charges or optional extras
- Final pricing is confirmed on the venue or partner website
We aim to display pricing clearly, but the venue or partner has the final say on availability and costs.
1H. Reviews and visitor feedback
Where available, we may show:
- Reviews collected directly by Disability Days
- Ratings or feedback from partner platforms
We aim to keep reviews helpful and relevant. We may remove content that is:
- Offensive or inappropriate
- Spam or unrelated to the attraction
- Misleading or false
Review sorting may prioritise recent or relevant feedback where possible.
1I. If something goes wrong
Any visit, booking, or experience is managed by the attraction or provider, not Disability Days. If you experience issues such as:
- Accessibility not matching the description
- Problems during your visit
- Pricing, refunds, or booking disputes
you should contact the venue or provider directly.
If you believe a listing on Disability Days is inaccurate or misleading, you can contact us and provide:
- The name of the attraction
- Details of the issue
- Any supporting information (such as photos or correspondence)
While we cannot guarantee outcomes, we may:
- Request updates or clarification from the venue
- Improve or correct listing information
- Remove or suspend listings that do not meet our standards
Our goal is to support disabled visitors and families by providing a trustworthy platform for discovering accessible and mobility friendly days out.
